Logistics Supervisor
Job Description
The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the logistics/shipping company. He/she ensures efficient execution of tasks, supervises staff, coordinates cargo collection at the airport and delivery to customers, and manages warehouse activities. The Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Coordinator and plays a key role in ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Supervise daily logistics processes and shipments.
- Staff Management: Lead, guide, and motivate warehouse and transport staff.
- Cargo Coordination: Organize and coordinate cargo collection at the airport and delivery to customers.
- Warehouse Management: Oversee warehouse activities including inventory control, storage, and order processing.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and provide feedback to the Operations Coordinator on performance and bottlenecks. Ensure all packages and payments are accounted for, and enforce SOP compliance.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all operations.
Profile:
- Education: Minimum MBO/HBO level.
- Experience: At least 2 years in a supervisory role within logistics, transport, or warehouse management.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Dutch and English.
