Cashier
Position Overview:
The Cashier is responsible for handling financial transactions and providing customer service support within the logistics/shipping company. This role involves processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with administrative tasks related to shipments and deliveries. Experience as a cashier is required, and familiarity with QuickBooks is an advantage, though not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Management: Process customer payments for shipping, courier, and logistics services accurately and efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Maintain daily transaction logs and ensure proper documentation of financial activities.
- Administrative Support: Assist with billing, invoicing, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Customer Service: Provide professional assistance to customers regarding payments, receipts, and basic service inquiries.
- Accuracy & Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with operations staff to align financial transactions with cargo pickups, shipments, and warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma; further education in finance or administration is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience as a cashier is required; logistics or shipping industry experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of QuickBooks is helpful but not mandatory; proficiency with basic office software (Excel, Word).

Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 16:30 hrs. (including a 30-minute break)
- Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00 hrs.
