Operations Coordinator
Position Overview:
The operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating daily operational activities within the logistics/shipping company. This role requires strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication with both internal teams and external clients. The coordinator will ensure smooth workflow, supervise staff, and uphold professional standards of efficiency and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Coordination: Oversee and streamline shipping, logistics, and office operations to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. Documentation flow between drivers, clerks and customers.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for external clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Problem-Solving: Identify operational challenges and implement creative, effective solutions.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, schedules, and operational performance. Support the Supervisor.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of a college degree (HBO or equivalent).
- Language Skills: Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
- Experience: At least 2 years in a leadership or management position, preferably within logistics, shipping, or related industries.

- Observant and detail-oriented
- Proactive and able to think outside the box
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Industry Fit: Willingness to work in a shipping/logistics company environment.
