Role Purpose

We are currently looking for a temporary Advisor Communications to support our communications Department for a period of approximately six (6) months. The roster (14x7x10) is open for discussion.

The Advisor Communications will support the development and implementation of communication strategies to enhance the organization’s reputation, ensure consistent messaging, and engage internal and external audiences in alignment with corporate objectives under the guidance of Lead Communications.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the organization’s reputation and stakeholder engagement while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic communications environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement communication plans for internal and external audiences.
• Draft and revise press releases, newsletters, reports, and digital content (including video and visuals).
• Prepare and schedule engaging content across platforms.
• Liaise with media outlets to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of company information.
• Assist in planning and promoting corporate events, campaigns, and community engagement initiatives.
• Track media coverage, assess public perception, and anticipate communication trends.
• Align all communication materials with corporate branding guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet communication needs for key projects.
• Monitor communication expenditures and compile reports for leadership.

 Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, public administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of progressively responsible experience in communications, PR, marketing, social media, web content management, and graphic design.
• Strong command of English, Dutch, and Sranan Tongo.
• Ability to build positive relationships and collaborate across disciplines.
